Google your style icon and you will find them in a monochromatic look. From Zendaya to Tracee Ellis Ross to Audrey Hepburn. Wearing a single color outfit is always in style. And you should do it for the same reason they do — effortless elegance.

When we get dressed, especially for important events, we have an idea in our mind of how we want to look. To achieve that vision, we sometimes get carried away. Taking something off — after we think we’re good — forces us to really examine what actually works for us.
